Who is this for? 

This program is tailored for up to two adults seeking guidance with specific challenges or problem areas related to horse training. Whether you choose to bring your own horse or work with one of ours, you’ll receive hands-on support and expert advice to help address your needs.

If you’re not bringing your horse, please ensure you bring your saddle to make the most of your experience.

What should I expect?

This program is designed to focus exclusively on the specific challenges or problem areas you’re encountering, no matter what they may be. Whether it’s mounting or dismounting, keeping your horse standing still, improving groundwork techniques, or refining speed event skills, the retreat provides targeted support tailored to your needs.

Tad, in collaboration with Enck’s Training, will carefully observe the issues you’re facing and guide you in working through them, either with your own horse or ours. You’ll spend approximately six hours of hands-on time, gaining practical tools and insights to overcome your challenges and build confidence in your equine partnership.

 

Are food and lodging provided?

No.

 

When can I sign up?

​Sign up on our Book Online page at least one week before the start of your lesson.  Simply navigate to the month you're interested in to check the available dates and secure a spot. 

 

Where will this retreat take place?

This program takes place at Enck’s Training facility, located at 22143 430th Ave, Carthage, South Dakota.

How much will it cost?

The cost of the program is $225 per person.

When booking online, you will need to pay a down payment of $100 to secure your spot. The remaining balance will be paid in person upon arrival. Please ensure that you do not pay more than your down payment online.

We accept PayPal, all major credit/debit cards, checks, and cash for payment.

Cancellation policy

Please note that the $100 down payment is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your session, this payment will not be returned.
